About
Thomas Snyder is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Public Administration. He teaches classes in capital budgeting, finance and planning, public policy analysis, principles of urban development, public financial management and budgeting, and economics for public management and policy. His research centers on infrastructure planning, policy and finance, policy analysis and welfare economics, urban economics and development, and state and local public finance. Prior to coming to UIC he was a member of the faculties in the Department of City and Regional Planning at the University of North Carolina--Chapel Hill, the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University-Bloomington and the Public Policy Programme at the National University of Singapore (a joint effort with the Kennedy School at Harvard).
