Don Craig is the Executive Director for the Illinois Rural Water Association, based in Taylorville, IL. He has worked within the Rural Water Association family for 40 years. Starting as the IRWA Circuit Rider in1985 for three years, he then accepted a position as a Regional Field Representative in the Asset Management Program with the National Rural Water Association, for whom he worked for 21 years. In 2009, he returned to the Illinois Rural Water Association, as the newly formed position of Deputy Executive Director. He was appointed the Executive Director of IRWA in May of 2024. Don has over 49 years of experience in Water and Wastewater Systems Management and Operations.
