Amanda Kass, associate director of the Government Finance Research Center at UIC, is quoted in a Chicago Sun-Times/Better Government Association fact-check story on Republican attorney general candidate Erika Harold. A Harold campaign ad claims a 2014 bill, which aimed to assist two of Chicago’s pension funds for city workers, sponsored by her Democratic opponent, state Sen.
